Many of our BBC regulars aren’t aware we operate 24 hours a day!!

We love seeing your smiling faces during daylight business hours, but we also have a full lineup of bakers, mixers, dough artisans, pastry chefs, baristas, cooks, and delivery staff who are working day and night to make all of this possible.  

Now 19 years in the making, this next-level deliciousness starts from the top down with a vision for BBC’s commitment to quality. Owners Christina and Sonia each bring their own unique knowledge of restaurant and culinary experience to the table. 

The two compliment each other, with Christina tending front-of-the house operation, Sonia ensuring the handcrafted meals and baked items from back-of-the-house are uniquely exceptional. 

BBC truly is a labor of love, and that’s part of the inspiration for this blog — we want to start showing our community WHY and HOW we put so much effort into making BBC great…and that the effort makes all the difference. 

Christina explains: “People see all these lovely items in the window and just don’t know how much preparation goes into it! For example, if you leave out one single ingredient in the dough making process — let’s say the salt or baking soda — the entire process is completely ruined. There is a unique progression for every baked good we serve. It requires getting all the steps right from start to finish, and we have a whole line of staff committed to those processes. There’s a science behind each bread; each pastry is shaped and cut by hand. We put a lot of hard work into making each recipe perfect so that it’s consistently wonderful from day to day.”

The BBC philosophy of “great food with integrity” spreads into all areas: our cheeses, deli meats, espresso bar, full lunch and dinner menu items sourced from local ingredients…plus our full service bar with daily happy hour specials.

On top of all the delicacies, BBC is committed to green and sustainable products, which stems back to our roots — in fact, we were one of the first restaurants in Little Rock to implement green, recyclable dinnerware and environmentally friendly products. 

Above all else, our goal is to make you feel comfortable here with us. We want to provide the best consistency and quality in our foods, but also welcome you to feel like you’re part of our family.
